Become Certified

CSR International members are able to become certified as sustainability and social responsibility professionals, following verification by CSR International, including their extent of qualification and level of experience. Free for Members.

Enhance Your Skills

CSR International members are eligible to apply for our Apprentice Programme and our Practitioner Programme (each are 3-month, part-time, online programmes), as well as accessing CSR International’s online and in-situ training courses. Discounts for Members.

Profile Your Work

CSR International members are able to profile their work in sustainability and social responsibility, including having any training they offer certified by CSR International, and sharing their upcoming events (meetings, conferences, courses, etc.). Free for Members.

Join Expert Groups

CSR International members are have access to Expert Groups and their associated Forums on each of the 7 ISO 26000 core subjects, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and the Countries of the world. Free for Members.

Share Your Content

CSR International members are able to share their professional content – such as press releases, blogs, articles, reports, jobs and videos – with other sustainability and social responsibility professionals. Free for Members.

Promote Your Events

CSR International members are able to profile and promote their sustainability and social responsibility events (meetings, conferences, training workshops, online webinars, etc.) and to offer discounts to SSR International Members. Free for Members.

Use Our Tools

CSR International has a variety of SSR tools, including Classic CSR Assessment, Advanced CSR Assessment, Hexagon Stakeholder Dialogue and S2M Certification, all of which Members can be Trained on and Licensed to use (prices vary). Discounts for Members.

Post Your Jobs

CSR International members are able to post role descriptions and links to more information for new sustainability and social responsibility job opportunities and thereby ensure that the best CSR candidates apply. Free for Members.

Feature Your Courses

CSR International organisational members are able to feature degree, diploma, certificate and non-degree sustainability and social responsibility courses, and are eligible to have them Endorsed (i.e. verified) by CSR International. Free for Members.

Categories of Membership

Please choose the category that matches your level of experience and qualifications. All memberships are subject to an approval process. Once you click on the Apply button, you will be directed to an Application Form. After you submit the completed form, your level of experience and qualifications will be checked and, if approved, further instructions will be sent to you on how to pay your subscription, register and access the site and the members’ benefits.

Novice Membership ($30 per year)

Novice Members are aspiring CSR professionals who have less than 2 years of relevant CSR experience and no relevant qualifications, and are:

  • Eligible to apply for the CSR International Apprenticeship Programme (3 months, part-time, online)
  • Given full access to website content (including premium downloads)
  • Able to post content (events, jobs, press releases, reports, etc.)
  • Encouraged to participate in CSR International Expert Groups and associated Forums
  • Able to upgrade to one of the other categories of membership once they have completed their studies

Student Membership ($60 per year)

Student Members are students currently studying a full-time degree, diploma or certificate with relevance to CSR, and are:

  • Eligible to apply for participation in the CSR International Apprenticeship Programme (3 months, part-time, online)
  • Given full access to website content (including premium downloads)
  • Able to post content (events, jobs, press releases, reports, etc.)
  • Encouraged to participate in CSR International Expert Groups and associated Forums
  • Able to upgrade to one of the other categories of membership once they have completed their studies

Associate Membership ($120 per year)

Associate Members are CSR professionals with 2-5 years CSR experience (or 1 years CSR experience and a relevant Postgraduate Diploma or Certificate, or no experience and relevant Postgraduate Degree), who are:

  • Able to use the designation “CSR International Certified Associate” (CSRICA), once qualifications and experience have been verified by SSR International
  • Given full access to website content (including premium downloads)
  • Able to post content (events, jobs, press releases, reports, etc.)
  • Encouraged to participate in CSR International Expert Groups and associated Forums
  • Eligible to apply for participation in the CSR International Practitioner Programme
  • Invited to donate 1 hour per month to the CSR International Mentorship Programme (not obligatory)
  • Added to the CSR International Register of Professionals

Professional Membership ($180 per year)

Professional Members are CSR professionals with 6-15 years CSR experience (or 4 years CSR experience and a relevant Masters Degree, or 1 years CSR experience and a relevant Doctoral Degree), who are:

  • Allowed to use the designation “CSR International Certified Professional” (CSRICP), once qualifications and experience have been verified by CSR International
  • Given full access to website content (including premium downloads)
  • Able to post content (events, jobs, press releases, reports, etc.)
  • Encouraged to participate in CSR International Expert Groups and associated Forums
  • Eligible to apply for participation in the SSR International Practitioner Programme
  • Invited to donate 1 hour per month to the CSR International Mentorship Programme (not obligatory)
  • Added to the CSR International Register of Professionals

Chartered Membership ($240 per year)

Chartered Members are CSR professionals with 16+ years CSR experience (or 14 years CSR experience and a relevant Masters Degree, or 11 years CSR experience and a relevant Doctoral Degree), who are:

  • Allowed to use the designation “CSR International Certified Chartered Professional” (CSRICCP), once qualifications and experience have been verified by CSR International
  • Given full access to website content (including premium downloads)
  • Able to post content (events, jobs, press releases, reports, etc.)
  • Encouraged to participate in CSR International Expert Groups and associated Forums
  • Invited to donate 1 hour per month to the CSR International Mentorship Programme (not obligatory)
  • Added to the CSR International Register of Professionals

Fellow Membership (by nomination only)

Fellow Members are nominated by CSR International or other CSR Professionals (they cannot nominate themselves) and are widely recognised as influential leaders in CSR. They are likely to have 25+ years CSR experience (or 20+ years CSR experience and a relevant Masters or Doctoral Degree) and are:

  • Allowed to use the designation “CSR International Fellow” (CSRIF)
  • Given full access to CSR International’s website content
  • Able to post content (events, jobs, press releases, reports, etc.)
  • Encouraged to participate in CSR International Expert Groups and associated Forums
  • Eligible to apply for participation in the CSR International Practitioner Programme
  • Invited to donate 1 hour per month to the CSR International Mentorship Programme (not obligatory)
  • Added to the CSR International Register of Professionals
